College Facilities: Childcare Centres

In partnership with the College, Glasgow East Regeneration Agency (GERA) operates 2 Childcare Centres based at both the Easterhouse and East End buildings, for children aged 0-5 years.

The College has a limited number of free places available for the children of students, allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.The Creche.

Students studying on NQ/NC, SVQ, Access, SWAP, SPA, Gateway programmes can apply for assistance with childcare costs from the College. Funding is limited and students are encouraged to apply promptly.

This funding allows students to use the Hullabaloo and Larch Childcare Centres within the College, other registered childcare services or a registered childminder.

Students studying Higher National Certificate programmes on a full-time basis may apply to the Higher Education Childcare fund for assistance and if lone parents, should be in receipt of the Lone Parent Supplementary Grants. Please note that this fund will not pay the total cost of childcare for 2009/10 - only a part of these fees.
