Inspection results confirm local college excellence

Her Majesty's Inspectorate of Education (HMIE), on behalf of the Scottish Funding Council, have published their report based on their November 2009 review of John Wheatley College.
The report says that:
'The following are holistic judgements made by HMIE on the basis of the external review activities which took place in November 2009. These judgements relate to the key principles of high quality learning, learner engagement and quality culture.
HMIE is confident that:

• learners are progressing well and achieving relevant, high quality outcomes;
• the college has in place high quality learning and teaching processes;
• learners are actively engaged in enhancing their own learning and the work and life of the college;
and
• the college is led well and is enhancing the quality of its services for learners and other stakeholders. '
